Hover States on Polygon Data

Hi,

I was wondering if it was possible to include rollover effects in a tileset. I know tooltips are possible, but I'd like to change the polygon fill or or stroke. Thanks.

    Hi Leo,
    For performance reasons, TileMill maps don't send exact geometry to the browser. Instead it breaks features up into rough grids and sends that data. Unfortunately, this makes it impossible to do feature highlighting or outlines with TileMill maps. This feature is something we plan to explore in the future.

    Hi Will,

    I appreciate the help. I was able to get pretty close just adding a similar data layer on top of my map with open layers. Then you can harness their style objects/events. Thanks again.
