Location link stopped working
I have a problem very similar to this past closed discussion:
http://support.mapbox.com/discussions/tilemill/266-location-doesnt-...
The problem seems to have popped up again with TileMill v0.9.1
The location hyperlink worked well up until about a month ago, about the time I upgraded TileMill. I'm using an iframe to embed the map on my website.

Hi pdbartsch,
It looks like this has been fixed, so it should be available in the next version of TileMill. In the meantime you can always download an older version here:
https://github.com/mapbox/tilemill/downloads
Let me know if this helps

Thank you for your response Ian. The link you sent seemed to refer to the
opening of Location links within TileMill itself. I'm more concerned with
the interaction after a map is uploaded to MapBox. Hopefully this is the
same issue. I look forward to the fix in the next version of TileMill.
I don't believe I can downgrade my Ubuntu Tilemill install because I only
find the most current version of TileMill listed on the downloads page for
Ubuntu.
Thanks,
Paul

Hey Paul,
You're totally right. It looks like this is fixed since Wax v6.2.0, but not on MapBox previews and embeds, so if you need to integrate you map in a site try using one of the downloads linked above.
hope this helps,

It looks like this is still a problem for maps hosted on MapBox. (location links not working). Is there an ETA for getting this fixed?

Hi Bryan sorry for the delay. We're working on this and will let you know as soon as a fix is implemented. To reiterate, location functionality is supported both the in the latest TileMill and Wax releases, so you should have no problem integrating your maps with Wax - it's only previews (i.e. tiles.mapbox.com/account/map/your-map/) and embeds that will not support wax. You can read more about the difference here
To get started with Wax, checkout our api documentation as well as how to use Leaflet or Modest Maps to power your map sites.

Is there any timeline estimate beyond "working on it"? This is a
pretty basic part of the MapBox hosting that's been broken for a
while.

Hi Bryan,
This has been fixed on MapBox Hosting, and the fix should be present on any hosted maps.
