TileMill Photo Collage Idea
So I had an idea to use tilemill as a way to showcase images. It allows users to zoom and pan around a collage of photos. I got it to sort of work, see the link here http://www.uvm.edu/~rsudekum/Fun%20Maps/mapphoto/mapphoto.html . I am having a problem georeferencing the images though. As you can see, the images don't really line up all that well. I am using the georeferencing plugin in GQIS, but the process is slow and is not working all that well for me. Do you guys have any ideas how I could batch georefernce a bunch of photos in a systematic way? Perhaps use some sort of grid system? Combined with a little "easey" I think this could look pretty slick.
Thanks.

Bobby,
This looks awesome. Sorry, I don't know of any good georeferencing tools besides the ones in QGIS. Perhaps someone in the #mapbox IRC has other ideas.

Hey Will,
I decided to just mosaic the photos in photoshop and then georeference one large photo. Turned out to pretty well. Check it out, http://www.uvm.edu/~rsudekum/Fun%20Maps/mapphoto/mapphoto.html
More to come.
