If my desktop is Windows, but my server uses Debian, do I download the Windows or Linux version of Mapbox?

    Hey Marc,

It's probably easiest to install TileMill on your desktop by downloading the Windows version, unless you are trying to install it on a server to share with others. Note that TileMill is just the design portion of the stack - if you're looking to share maps with others, you'll want to use MapBox Hosting or install TileStream on your server.
