TileMill on VirtualBox ubuntu/windows logs me out

What is the default ubuntu password for the virtualbox you recommend windows users use with tileMill? If I leave the computer for a few minutes, energy mgmt logs me out and I can't log back in!

(Also - the tutorial I was following mentions to click "Save & Style" only that option never appears for me - and I cannot find a complete Carto style guide.)

   If you have time for a bonus question - after reading the carto built-in
   guide, I still don't see any example of how you specify the color to make a
   point, only the size. Can you provide an example of the syntax please?
