Hi,
first of all thank for previous support, now i have tilemill working on my 32bit osx, but as the computer is a bit old and suffers from heavy export tasks i managed to get a faster machine based on win7, i got tilemill running in a Ubutu 11.04 virtualbox (not the one you provide, i installed it myself).

I dont have issues if i run it within the virtual box, but since it's a local machine i'd like to access to tilemill with my other computers, here are the questions,
1) what is the syntax for adding more hosts capable to reach tilemill through a local network, keeping localhost working as well; actually i tried to add hosts but it didn't work, probably for wrong syntax ans i lost usage on the ubuntu VM also until i re-edited tilemill.config back to it's origins
2) once i add hosts do i simply need to digit the ip of my virtual box followed by ":8889" ?

Thanks in advance,

Fabrizio

    Hi Fabrizio,
You should be able to set the 'host' option to 'false' to disable host checking altogether. The tricky part might be making your VirtualBox instance accessible to the outside network, buti think VirtualBox documentation for this.

    Hi Will,
following some instructions on VBox forum i've managed to make it work and access it from outside the Vbox, i think i found my pleasure for the moment. :)
    My actual config is:
win7 + Virtualbox (ubuntu 11.04 running tilemill) configured with dual virtual ethernet (eth0 for web and eth1 for local access)
looks like this issue is solved
    Thanks.
