Yes, Mapbox does provide refunds under certain conditions.
If Mapbox has issued a refund, the funds will be returned to the account's original payment method 5-10 business days after the refund has been processed. However, individual Mapbox invoices will not be reflected to show refunds. If you require additional receipts for the refund, you can reach out to Mapbox Support team with the necessary details about your invoice.
Additionally, if sales tax has been applied to your invoice, but you can provide valid exemption documentation covering the purchase period, you can get a refund on the sales tax portion of your payment if you contact firstname.lastname@example.org within 30 days of the invoice date.
After 30 days from the invoice date, you will need to contact your local state tax authority to process a refund.
Please note that prepaid credit added to your account for future Mapbox services cannot be refunded in case it's no longer needed. The prepaid credit will be applied to future invoices on a recurring basis until the credit is $0.00. Mapbox won't charge the credit card on file until the account's prepaid balance is $0.00.
